Internationally known astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of the Hayden Planetarium of the American Museum of Natural History, famously said, “The great thing about science is, it’s true whether or not you believe it.”

And that’s the way of things now in regard to rising sea levels. You may be a denier or an advocate in the discussion of climate change, but the inescapable fact is that sea levels are rising. Everywhere, and particularly right here in Florida. As the waters rise, they’re threatening cities, towns, rural coastlines and especially a number of Florida’s historic resources.
