Members of the Facebook group, Friends of the State Parks, report widespread damage at parks in Franklin, Gulf, Bay and Jackson counties.

Billy Bailey, a member of the Caverns’ page, said it looks like “there is no Florida Caverns State Park.”

“No roads, no trails, no fences, shelters crushed; lost much of the equipment needed to operate, no access to Visitor Center, cave tours, campground, or swimming area,” Bailey wrote.
